Before Taqueria Milear
Taqueria Milear is a small family restaurant owned by Artemio Baltazar Serapio and his wife, Marisol Lopez Mendoza. The two met in Mexico at a small food stand where Marisol used to work making quesadillas, tacos, enchiladas and gorditas.
They decided to share their lives together and migrate to The United States of America. After arriving, Artemio started to work in a restaurant washing dishes and continued onto many positions in the restaurant industry.
After much hard work and a little saved money, they decided to open a small place and let people try authentic Mexican food, with all the original recipes that Marisol learned from her grandmother at the age of 13.
Marisol's grandmother taught her authentic Mexican cuisine, and now we are happy to serve out food to our community and instill within our children a strong work ethic. Taqueria Milear is named after our three children, Mitchelle, Leah, and Arymar.
They made their dream come true with hard work, support from family and friends and the drive to always fight through the troubles. The spirit of their abuela lives on. in our cuisine. We are happy to serve you!
